You might assume you need to work with a local designer, and that’s certainly an option! But here’s what we’ve learned after over a decade in the wedding industry: the best fit isn’t always the closest fit.

Your designer’s style matters most. If their portfolio makes your heart skip a beat, that’s what counts.

Modern tools make collaboration easy. Video calls, digital proofs, and email mean you can work with a designer anywhere without sacrificing personal attention.

You get access to specialized expertise. Designers who focus exclusively on wedding stationery bring years of experience you might not find with a general print shop down the street.

That said, if you’re local to Edmonton, we’d love to meet you in person! But if you’re planning a wedding elsewhere, distance doesn’t have to be a barrier.

The Design Process: What to Expect

Whether you’re meeting us at our Edmonton studio or connecting via video call, the process is personal, collaborative, and straightforward.

1. Discovery Call

We start with a complimentary call to discuss your vision, timeline, and budget. This is your chance to ask questions, share inspiration, and see if we’re the right fit for your wedding.

2. Design Consultation

Once you book, we’ll have a detailed consultation to dive into the specifics: colors, paper textures, printing techniques, and quantities. If you’re local, we can meet in person and you can touch samples. If you’re remote, we can send sample kits your way.

3. Custom Design & Revisions

We’ll create custom designs based on your vision and present digital mockups for your review. You’ll have opportunities to request revisions until everything feels perfect.

4. Production & Delivery

After you approve the final design, we handle printing and assembly. Local clients can pick up their order or we’ll arrange delivery. For clients outside Edmonton, we ship everything directly to you with tracking and care.

5. Ongoing Support

Questions about envelope addressing? Need help with assembly? We’re here throughout the process, whether you’re around the corner or across the country.

Tips for a Smooth Collaboration

Share your vision clearly. Pinterest boards, color swatches, and inspiration images help us understand your style from the start.

Ask questions. There are no silly questions when it comes to paper weights, printing methods, or timelines. We’ll walk you through every decision.

Plan ahead. Start your stationery process at least six months before your wedding for invitations, and two to three months ahead for day-of items like programs and menus.

Trust the process. We’ve done this hundreds of times. Lean on our expertise and enjoy the creative journey.

Working Locally vs. Remotely: What’s the Difference?

Honestly? Not much. The level of service, attention to detail, and quality of work is identical whether you’re in Edmonton or elsewhere.

Local clients enjoy the option of in-person meetings and the ability to see samples in our studio. You can also pick up your order if you prefer.

Remote clients receive the same personalized attention via video calls and phone consultations. We send sample kits so you can feel paper textures before committing, and we ship finished stationery directly to your door.

Both experiences are designed to be stress-free, personal, and collaborative.
